At least im now fully aware that the club gazebo is not UV protectant ! So when im sitting it it this year, I'll be dripping with sun tan lotion.

Dont forget to stop in and say Hi at the Stranraer and district club stand.

I did that last year - went on an 8 day trip round SCOTLAND - making the show/castle kennedy/stranraer part of the trip.

never been SCOTLAND before that trip... and now I love SCOTLAND...and whenever i say SCOTLAND you've just gotta shout it out in a SCOTISH accent.

Cuz the wee SCOTISH love SCOTLAND!!

RE: 2011 Scottish Model Airshow
Well this year the weather was tuely awfull unforynately.
The Saturday had cloud and very strong winds resulting in torrential rain from lunch time onwards.
Sunday the winds were still present and only the odd shower, but still very unsuitable conditions.
Hats off to the brave ( or daft ? ) pilots who did put their aircraft up.
Our Club Gazebo died during the Storms on the saturday night, so we were homeless for the sunday.
anyhoo, I did get a few photos, but not all that many. If anyones interested they can be viewed here:-
