Calculating Flying Time
I have ordered a few bits & pieces in readiness for the arrival of my fling. Have received my micro batter 4.8v 120 MAh & some micro servos. The little battery looks so small, i was wondering how long it is likely to last so that i can ensure i don;t lose control. Any ideas?Exclamation

Ahh so its just got to power the receiver and a couple of servos. I would imagine at least 10-20mins maybe even longer. Keep the control rods free and it will draw less current.

A slope soarer can last over an hour on a 600mAh battery, which gives you a rough idea.

You could always get a 2nd battery if you need more flight time or a field charger.

Following the link above, I was intrigued to find that the featured video was for a totally different model - are you sure you've got a Fling?? Big Grin

My Swift II lasts for at least 4 hours on a 800 mah AAA battery Smile
