Hi all,
Im a newbie to model Flying at the age of 64anabit and need a shed load of help. I have a foamy 4 channel cub on order to go with my Spectrum DCX6i, there will be a Lipo and basic charger with the model but I also want to buy a half decent charger to carry forward to further projects so I would be grateful for any advice. I don't have a lot of spare cash sensible priced suggestions please.

Hi Alancardy

Your standard 6 cell (6s) 5amp Balancing 12v field charger will go a long way. Dont be put off by the 6 cell.

From £35 - £60 (different qualities) which you can buy and add a mains supply to for around £8-£15

Or you can buy an all in one for around £50 - £100

Have a look at http://www.giantcod.co.uk
They do a GT Power A606 dual power with either mains or 12v input or a GT Power A606 for just 12v input all at very reasonable prices. Generally his service is second to non.
I can also recommend his Tipple Lipos.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the prompt replies with regards to chargers, I'm now sorted as I picked up my plane today and sorted a charger at the same time bearing in mind your advice. My plane order a Top Gun PA-18 Super Cub was dealt with in 4 days including the weekend. I bought a Team Orion IQ 605 charger/power supply plus the plane for £150 which I thought to be a good deal. I don't think you can advertise on this forum
suffice to say I will be using a certain Speedy Model------s shop for my future needs.
