| RE: Charging help I think you've got those the other way round, but it doesn't matter. ![]() The only other thing you need to set is the charge mode - I'd advise using the LiPo "BALANCE" mode but it's up to you. Some B6 clones let you charge entirely through the balance leads, but others require both the balancer and the main power leads to be connected. I'm sure you'll work that out. Safety first! Never fly near airfields, populated areas, children or cats. (Dogs are ok) | |||

| RE: Charging help hi QuackingPlums, ok thanks yea ive read abit more on charging now, and like you said its best to charge using balance mode. what about the amps how would i go about it? is it the more you add the faster it charges? but the more you kill the life span of the batterys? what would you use for the 850mah 2c & 3c please? i was thinking 2.0 to 2.2 maybe? would be nice if there was a guide that would help ppl. thanks Daz/Tosk Motto - "Vis Unita Fortior" | |||

| RE: Charging help hmm ive just been looking on the net, and ppl are saying you divide the mah with 1000. then times it by the cell. so 2c 850mah * 1000 = 1.6a & 3c 850mah = 2.4a is that a good way to go about it? or is that wrong? any help would be greatfull thanks Daz/tosk Motto - "Vis Unita Fortior" | |||

| RE: Charging help I would charge at 1C, which for those packs would be 0.85A (nearest the charger will do is probably 0.8 or 0.9). Never heard of multiplying by the number of cells before but you can't go wrong with 1C. Even with packs rated for higher charge rates you will reduce the lifespan of the pack. If this is not an issue then you can go up to whatever the pack is rated for - usually 2 or 3C. Safety first! Never fly near airfields, populated areas, children or cats. (Dogs are ok) | |||

| RE: Charging help hi again QuackingPlums, ok thanks m8 i will charge them around 1amps then, as i dont really want to keep buying batterys, if they last me 1 year i would be very happy ![]() thanks again Daz/Tosk Motto - "Vis Unita Fortior" | |||

| RE: Charging help More importantly, don't run the batteries flat. Keep them above 15-20% or 3V per cell. Store them at 50% if you're not using them for a while! Safety first! Never fly near airfields, populated areas, children or cats. (Dogs are ok) | |||

| RE: Charging help Yep agreed! I only ever charge even better cells at 1c and cell count has nothing to do with it. | |||
