hi all, would you buy a Elf Mini DLG, for a first time flyer?

and do you think its ok for the money?

DLG's wont normally give you a lot of time to get on the controls, correct attitude and get into a non powered flight pattern, (loads of instant brain power needed) so by virtue of all these things, they are not ideal for a newbie. You will often have little height for correction which can also cause panic ( although sometimes dependant on model, conditions and skill you can get massive amounts of height) but generally when launched for the first few seconds they are simply an "out of control" aircraft and not the best senario for a novice to be on the sticks.

With some experiance then not so much of a problem. Some DLG's can cost a fortune and its a "type" of flying which is not for everyone.

Yeah 10ft off the ground was interesting.. but it didnt crash and I think I actually did give birth to something Wink

i really like the look of the Blaster 2 DLG F3K as well, but its the same thing just bigger and costs alot
for what it is
