Engine with ducted fan Unit
Hello!

I am building a UAV and i am looking for some Piston Engine (2Stork or 4Stork). Can any one guide me which one is better? which of these would be Efficient, gives maximum thrust considering weight of engine.

Please also tell me that if there are some engine with ducted fan unit instead of open props. I heared there are some 2 stork engines which have ducted fan units is it true? if so please tell me model number of engines.

Engine with ducted fan Unit
I have just done a google, and found
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa...i_n8898721
which is quite an old article about IC powered ducted fans.

I also found
http://www.jethangar.com/
which has stuff about IC and electric ducted fans,

Hope this helps.

For ic ducted fan you would run a 2 stroke engine, lighter and higher Rpm than 4 stroke and probably best on a tune pipe to bring it "on song".
