Fuel Supply
I am trying to source a supplier of fuel who will deliver to my home a fuel that is 15% nitro and 20% castor. Most fuel mnfrs will only supply through model shops and my nearest is about 60 miles away.
Any suggestions please?

Problem is going to be finding a carrier who will transport such a material. Postal service and Couriers will never carry such a flammable material. So that leaves personal arrangements.

Looks like you'll have to either buy bulk when you go that 60mls or ask another modeller when they are going for own supplies. Maybe as a club you could club together to buy in supplies ?

Most of the crash is fine - it's the last mm and second that's not !.... Ex Model Display flyer returning to hobby after 25yrs in the wilderness !.....http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Flysky_RC_radio/ if user of FlySky Radio where I hope to collect together helpful data

RE: Fuel Supply
My nearest model shop is 75 miles away. This is one of the reasons for me going electric.

RE: Fuel Supply
Awhile ago I used to buy fuel for our club. 30 gals was the basic order if you wanted discount, I found Southern Model Craft very good. They will deliver within reason if they are in your area. But they do attend a fair few shows through out the summer season.

Dare I say it...You could go 'petrol'...that was part of the reason I went to petrol, fed up of trying to source methanol based fuels.Buy a gallon..sorry..4.54 litres........fly all weekend..and the rest..
Or go Electric....plug n play..turn up..take orf........do not get the duration..but do not get the aggrovation....Big Grin

I don't have crashes, just mid-airs with the planet.............
