Gaz-turbine models
Last time, Cam and I went to a gliding shop in Bristol. Cam bought a few pieces of wood and I bought a simple glider for beginnersBig Grin.

İmageCam buying his wood

The shop was a nice gliding shop, but there was a little something about the shop that made us looking away from the respectfull gliders.

No, you wouldn't guess it right. We saw a gas-turbine runned Kangaroo plane on the table, the canopee and wings removed to repair some parts.

İmage The plane

İmageWhat I would call a 'small' model-engine

İmageİmage
The front of the turbine showing an electric starter motor

İmageBack of the Turbine

İmageİmageThe inside of the plane. You would notice a fuel (kerosine) tank, an air pressure tank (to raise or lower tyres), a propyleen tank or something to run the turbine initially, and three different batteries for three different tasks such as receiver and eight servos, starterengine, and fuel pump.

The engine runs at 160,000 rpm, and develops 20kg of thrust. It heats up to 600° Celsius.

That's one gaz-turbine running model. Anybody else who has a 'similar' model?

I have a mini laser. (lol)
