06 Video HD Wing Camera 1280x720p 30fps 5MP CMOS
This little cam will save you loads of money on a buying quadcopter! (if you have a heli already) 3hr run time, and really easy to use.

İmage

Took this little vid in my back garden, just tape the cam to my 500, not bad for £23!

works on my slotcars as well!

That slot car vid made me feel sick! Have you got a link to the camera?

Does the camera take a micro SD card or is it just onboard memory that has to be cleared via USB? What's the format of the video files?

Safety first! Never fly near airfields, populated areas, children or cats. (Dogs are ok)

avi files as most know are a general term for a particular format, but within that are a lot of possibilities.

For the majority of digital photo / vid recordings - the avi file is quite large due to it's maximising quality and low compression.

You can via various free and shareware programs including Windows Movie maker reduce that file size significantly without losing too much quality..... to another format avi file with greater compression.

But as many have found you have to be careful what you choose as some of the later more compressed are only watchable with special codecs and program ... cannot be loaded to youtube etc.

Just mentioning ... Wink

Most of the crash is fine - it's the last mm and second that's not !.... Ex Model Display flyer returning to hobby after 25yrs in the wilderness !.....http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Flysky_RC_radio/ if user of FlySky Radio where I hope to collect together helpful data

Who is Tony? Big Grin

Thanks for the link - looks like a meatier version of what's in those keycam cameras. Not bad at all for the money, especially with the 3hr recording time, but having had so many AVI-based cameras now I'm done with having to transcode them to something useful before being able to import them into my editing software. Good for casual use though! Confused
