Hello :-) Im new here
Hi, im Ds is an and im 14 Cool I got into flying about 3 years ago, but have stopped and started a bit Blush I have mostly had 3d and sport planes, but since i saw the man at my club with a spitfire... I WANT ONE Exclamation As im 14 i dont have that much money so i cant just go buy what i want! but i have saved up abit + christmacoming. I do want one with retracts, and dont really want one with a bigger engine than a 60 2 stroke as the engines start to get costyExclamation I have also just seen this on ebay and now its got me worried!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Spitfire-radio-con...286.c0.m14

That engine stuck out the top is so ugly... but how do i know if i buy one (online) it wont be the same? Also will a spitfire still sound good with a 2 stroke insted of a 4 stroke? I have been looking at this one:

Its everything i want! Flaps retracts, and a nice looking model (to me)Anyone got one and are they any good, And if not is there one you would recomend? The thing i would most like is a spitfire that would take a irvine 40, 46, or 53 (as these engines are cheap and good) That has retracts. Anyone know of one? There is a bring and buy sell at my club thursday so i might get some servos etc if i see a nice airframe on the net, as i cant afford new electrics tooBlush
Hope to meet you all soon!
Dan

And im no good at making models so it much be artf. Cool

Hello :-) Im new here
A friend of mine has just bought a Hanger 9 Fokker DVII and the quality is very good for an ARTF so I would expect the Spitfire to be of similar quality.

Hello :-) Im new here
Also will any servo work for the retracts? And are retracts included with the model when you buy it?
Thanks,
Dan

Hello :-) Im new here
If you follow this link to the Hanger 9 website you will see the recommended servos including the more powerful retract servo:-

Servos are not included with the kit
