How to post calendar events

To post an event you need to do so from the Calendar, please follow this link to go there.

When at the Calendar page and viewing Daily events there is a new option named "Add an event". Select "Model Flying Events" from the drop down menu and press the "Go" button the post your event.



A new page will open looking very like the normal topic or reply page but it will have a new event section for you to select the date. Completing your event title and event details is straight forward and again is the same as a reply.



To select the "Start Date" of your event you have two option, you can type it directly in the dd/mm/yyyy format or press the little calendar icon where a new calendar window will open for you to select the date. The "End Date" can be set to the same day as the start date if your event is for one day or you may select the last day of your event if it repeats for a number of days.



Should your event repeat on regular intervals you may select an appropriate frequency from the drop down list or else leave it as the default "Every day".



You can now press the Preview button to check your post and when you are ready press the "Post New Topic button".

Next check the dates on the calendar to make sure you have posted the correct dates, if not you may edit your post to correct the dates. Should you run in to any complications please ask for help.
