Idle Up

Ok then guys,

Getting fed up with just hovering,
managed to do a circuit t'other day,
been reading up on the other forums and they suggest that i should be getting into the idle ups now.

so silly question time( I know what they do) but just how much of the curves and how the bliddy hell do you put them in to a futaba FF9 And Any suggestions as to which curves to use to start with?

Start off with a heli memory of course... This is my settings for the Trex 500.

Check out the pitch curve, its a straight line for all (NORM/IDL1/IDL2).

that looks better as i had something like idle 1 norm,then idle 1 idle 1
then idle 2 norm then idel2 idle 2 and so on

Those are 3D Curves

I'd strongly suggest limiting Negative Pitch
to a Max of -2 for someone just starting on circuits.

Imo. after only 1 circuit, Idle up is not yet needed
