Junior 48" - Build
Hi guys I have a DG Mills 1.5 Twin sitting about with out a home, looking about I got hold of a Junior 60 Plan, but the 1.5 wouldnt power that size of model, but wanting to stick with the model I down sized the plan 80%

Went off to the local model shop and bort some Sticks.

I'll put some build pics on here a little later, has anybody on here built a Junr 60?

Junior 48" - Build
Hi Jiffy, I've had a few Junior 60's over the years. The one I am flying at the moment (picture on another thread on rctalk) was in fact made by a club friend. If you want any info I might be able to help. There are two versions, the original and in my opinion more attractive Mk 1, and the later (c1956) Mk 2 with a fatter fuselage to take radio. There is plenty of room in a Mk 1 for modern radio. Junior 60's fly great whether FF or RC.

Junior 48" - Build
Hi jiffy,

Probably too late now - I've only just seen this - but I have built a 48 inch (80%) Junior 60, I think it is called 'Just Junior'. I was give the plans which were photocopied from a magazine, to a version, supposedly 42 inch span but on measuring it up it was actually 48 inches.
I thought it would be a quick build but there are just as many pieces of wood in the smaller version - they're just a bit smaller, so it took just as long as the full size one. I built one of those too a few years ago.
I didn't want the oily mess associated with IC motors so mine has a small (100 watt) Dualsky outrunner and a 1200mAh 3S Lipo.
Flies really well, and quiet too.

Dave.
