Thats £219 in english ![]() Thats £36.50 per battery - which is very CHEAP compared with some makes & what prices used to be...BUT having said that - i do feel a little sick for spending £220 on lipo batteries... going to ly down in a darkend room for a day or two ![]() Will let you know how i get on with HK & The Turnigy LiPos... I'm converting my car to run on electric - after just 1 week it will have paid for itself! Nah - the batteries are for the "Package" as seen in the other thread... I've decided to sell off all my models - and have just this one... hence why i've bought more than the usual number of batteries for it - esp this size of battery! | RE: ...LiPos ordered - feeling a little queasy ...I think electric power is finally becomming a REAL rival to IC now... Not just an alternative power source. Of course... IC will always have a Cult following... at least while fuel is attainable. To repeat what others have said, requires education; to challenge it, requires brains. | |||

| RE: ...LiPos ordered - feeling a little queasy 30 size planes and 500 size helis it's been pretty viable for a while but I'd not realised how well it can now compare in the .50 size class. | |||

| RE: ...LiPos ordered - feeling a little queasy It never ceases to amaze me with Electric Heli development. Back in my day.... ![]() ![]() if you wanted a decent size Heli you had to make it yourself...so I did...A concept 30 using an Astro 40 Cobalt on 18..!! 1800 Sanyo SCR, and a Astro 100amp ESC...Flew convincingly for 5 minutes, did not need any negative pitch dialed in..came down with authority..... ![]() ![]() ![]() Endith my tales of the good ol days.... ![]() ![]() I don't have crashes, just mid-airs with the planet............. | |||

| RE: ...LiPos ordered - feeling a little queasy Aye - the development is pretty good - i just wish my skills developed as quickly haha I just thought - the £30 for fuel doesnt include delivery charges... so the lipos may be cheaper than a gallon of fuel IF ur not collecting lol.
