| Multiplex Easy Glider Electric Power Pack Hi i want to convert my Multiplex Easy Glider Electric to brushless for more power. i think the kit is far too much money. The stock Brushed motor has a gear box so the motor shaft is not center, its futher up. On the power kit the brushless motor needs the gear box. what i need to know is: - is the gear box from stock to upgrade the same one? - is the prop from stock to upgrade the same one? - and is there a cheaper alternative Brushless motor, with or without the gear box.(i can do some cuting and carving) - which speed controller to use? I want your setups what you have used that works or you have seen work. This is the Power Pack from Multiplex. http://www.multiplexusa.com/power-and-se..._pack.html I also know that some people can get things sent to them from Multiplex to test. Are you one of them? or do you know one of them? I need it but cheaper than the over £100 wanted from Multiplex. | |||

| Multiplex Easy Glider Electric Power Pack Hi Lufc-luke16, There are tons of threads on the easyglider and options for converting it to electric and many people have not used the multiplex power set and gone for something cheaper. One thing to consider is the multiplex released the easy-glider PRO version which had a fatter nose which means it is more suited to convert to brushless then the 'normal' nose on your easyglider electric but if you read through these threads you will find people who converted the normal nose to run a brushless motor. Anyway - here are a few threads to browse through...should keep you busy this weekend.... ![]() http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=347989 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=374142 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=556040 James | |||
