I don't know what nicads were?

10C?

I just think its amazing how such a small & light weight battery can pump out 150 amps constant - and 300 amps when pushed - a massive amount of wattage output for short periods..

I would be a bit worried if it was a Thunder Tiger...the '130c burst'...brings on the wrong connotations............Big GrinBig Grin

I've had 1 or 2 thunder tiger packs in the past and they were ok.. did what they saidl...

Although, having said that - I only like to use lipos upto 80% of their constant C rating... I feel your pushing your luck beyond that in regards to saftey & pack life.

Plus - when flying a model - if you were to use the "Burst" current - you would need a way of knowing when you go beyond the constant C rating - Else your plane will burst into an explosive fireball mid flight - Which would make excellent footage for onboard camera videos - as mentioned in the other topic.
