Parkflight Extra 330L Problem
First of all let me say hi to everyone im new to the forum and relatrively new to this area of the RC hobby.

I have just purchased a Parkflight Extra 330L electric with brushless motor etc. Im using a Spektrum DX6i TX with a Spektrum AR600 RX. The ESC is a Sapac ESC-30A-II. Im having problems getting the motor to work. When I plug the battery in the ESC starts to bleep at a slow pace and same tone maybe 1 beat per sec. Then when I turn on the TX the ESC starts to beep really fast at say 3 beeps a sec and its continueous. I tried to reverse the channel for the throttle and it still doesnt work but the ESC does behave differently.

It starts to go through a sequence as if its starting up then it bleeps at different rates as if its bleeping a fult code of some description.

Some friends from a RC heli sit im on have said about the ESC needing programming. But I cant find any information out on this ESC and so I dont know where to start likewise as I bout it as a kit there was no info on the ESC.

Has anyone got any advice?

I havent set a TX and RX up for a plane before so if I have missed something important please let me know as all I have done is to get the servos moving the right way thats all.

Thanks
Andy

Welcome to rctalk Smile

Its not clear but firstly the TX should be switched on before powering up the ESC. Have you bound the RX to the TX yet?

Too bad stupid isn't painful.

This maybe stating the obvious but no harm checking. Is this the only model on that TX if not have you selected a new memory slot. It should be straight forward if you re-bind but maybe there is some other setting going on in the TX.

Thanks for the replies everyone I have sorted it. Yes I started a new model and set it up. I never set my trim all the way back for the throttle trim as I never thought it mattered but now it works fine.

Many Thanks
Andy
