Yeah, cant argue with that. How long do you think that would last on a glider with 4 servo's?, just a ball park figure?

Chris

Chris guys used to spend the day at the flying field on the old 700mah packs, I feel certain you would get a good day on the slopes, Never worth risking not recharging before the next day out though.

Steve

Expo noob question.

Its all what you're comfortable with. As tony says, start higher and work down til it feels "twitchy". I don't like to go much beyond 40% (or -40% on futaba) as it can catch you out then.

This is just my personal opinion but i've always found the Spektrum radios a lot harder for me to get to grips with...I find the futaba radios easier to understand and better/simplistic layout (But not without their faults - i'm not hailing them as perfect!)

That new DX10 has way way too many switches and buttons for my liking!

But - if you have a Spektrum radio then i guess it would be an easier change.

Also as said - it seems aimed at the use of a tray - again something i dont bother with.

Ahhhh..thanks. I guess the tow start is used on flat fields also

Hello I have a big high wing trainer & after a few flights I now fly 3d planes. However I'm young & play PS3, xbox 360 & pc games alot. They say young ones pick it up fast. Flying is not as difficult as some make out. I even have a friend with a real pilots license & he is thicker than 2 short planks. Look out for a nice deal on a super cub or something. Nitro planes are messy I'm going electric route from now on.
£100 is a tight budget.I managed to get Vmar Apache & all the gear for £100 from ebay though.
