1. RcTalk

RcTalk.co.uk has been created to generate a central area for individuals and clubs to pool both interest and information in respect of all aero modelling subjects.
RcTalk.co.uk is run as a non-profiting service by aero modellers for aero modellers, and hope that whether or not you require a forum for your club, you will visit us as often as you can to either browse or participate. With this in mind please keep all posts Model Flying related, unless in the appropriate section.
This is a volunteer system. There are no paid members here whose job is to answer your question.

2. Keep your thread updated
|

Please let us know if the status of the problem changes, if new information become available or if the problem as been solved and what the solution was. This will benefit everyone.
If we are waiting for a reply from you and you do not within a few months, the thread will be closed.
PLEASE COMMIT YOURSELF TO YOUR THREAD AND TO IT'S CONCLUSION.

3. Post all questions / problems in the forums
|

We prefer answering all questions in the forums, as this will help others with similar problems to be able to find answers. Keep Email and PM for private conversations. You can register and post your problem/question in the forums where people will be more than happy to help you.

4. Search
|
|
Please browse the forums or use the search function before you post your problem. Your question might have already been answered.
|
5. Stay on topic
|
|
Do not add to an existing thread with a new problem/question. If your problem/question is similar but different enough then start a new thread.
|
6. Topics
|
|
The subject heading (Topic) should reflect the content of your post. Example: not just "HELP" or "WANTED"
|
7. No Adult Stuff
|
|
Links to adult sites and material or membership for the purpose of adult contact, is not allowed.
|
8. Pictures
|
|
Do not upload pictures larger than 640 x 480 pixels within the forum as it slows the system down, use your Photo Album instead for larger pictures. Ask, if you require a photo album.
|
9. No Crossposting
|
|
Post only once on the forum that is most related to the topic of your message. If there is no such forum, post it on the General Discussions forum.
|
10. Signature
|
|
Please don't use large .gif or .jpg files in your sig files. This slows down the system if you are a frequent poster. You can use up to 255 characters, but in most cases, less is better.
Please also refrain from using aggressive or contentious comments/remarks within signature text.

11. No Illegal Stuff
|
|
Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
Do not post copyrighted material without the express written permission of the author.
Do not use the forums to encourage conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any national or international law or regulation.
Do not post links to offensive, warez, software cracks or porn sites. Links to these types of sites will be removed.

12. No Personal Attacks

This includes harassments, flames and other forms of annoying behaviour or derogatory remarks against others that may cause arguments.
|
13. No Spam
|
|
Stay on topic. Posts that are unrelated to the forum topics are not allowed. Please post general comments/information in the General Discussions forum. Nonsense posting generated to increase your number of posts is not allowed.

14. No Referral Links
|
|
You are not allowed to post a URL where you receive reward of compensation by referring others. It is however ok to post your website URL in your profile and/or in your signature.

15. Pending Members
|
|
Any pending members that dont reply to the "register email" will be removed after 7 days.
|
16. Help others
|
|
If you come across a thread that you may know the solution to, then please take a few minutes to help out.
|
17. Be courteous
|
|
Please remember that everyone is entitled to an opinion. Personal attacks, slurs ("flaming") and any use of profanity will not be tolerated. These messages will be deleted immediately and the participant may be restricted from future participation.
